Modamily is a digital platform and mobile application designed to connect individuals who are ready to start a family, catering to various modern family structures. It serves as a community for those seeking romantic partners who share the goal of having children, platonic co-parents to raise a child together, or known sperm donors to help single individuals or couples conceive.
Challenge
Modamily needed support to stabilize and improve their existing mobile application, which required ongoing attention across both frontend and backend components. They were looking for a flexible and reliable partner to help address technical debt and continuously enhance the product.
Goal
The objective was to provide a consistent development cadence for maintenance, bug fixing, and iterative improvements with a team capable of navigating an existing codebase while responding to evolving platform needs.
Solution
We began the engagement with a full-time team to support the mobile app (built in React Native,) the backend (Node) and a technical project manager to ensure delivery consistency and stakeholder alignment. As the collaboration matured, we transitioned to a monthly retainer model which allows to maintain long-term momentum while allowing flexibility based on priority. Over the years we’ve delivered continuous updates, resolved critical issues, and helped Modamily evolve its product with stability and care.
