ForLikeMinds is an online community and platform dedicated to supporting the recovery and wellness of individuals living with mental illness, substance use challenges, or stressful life events, as well as those who support them. It provides a space for members to connect and engage in relatable micro-communities based on shared lived experiences, backgrounds, and specific conditions.
Challenge
ForLikeMinds needed a trusted partner to seamlessly take over an existing Ruby on Rails platform from a previous vendor, fast. While the codebase was functional, it required fresh eyes to navigate legacy challenges, maintain momentum, and deliver consistent updates without disruption.

The client was looking to stabilize ongoing development, resolve technical issues efficiently, and set the foundation for future growth. The goal was to maintain and gradually improve the platform while also supporting the client in planning for future enhancements.
